FINISH:  My decorative pieces are finished with Danish Oil, then hand lacquered and then paste waxed.  No maintenance is needed.  I occasionally wipe them with a soft cotton cloth.  If needed, I recommend paste wax such as Johnson's furniture Paste Wax.
